Description
Lam Research is hiring an Electrical Engineer for its Hardware group to report to the mechatronics team and develop firmware and embedded systems for robotic applications. The role involves designing embedded systems, developing firmware in C-like languages for ARM Cortex-based microcontrollers and wireless devices, creating schematics and PCB layouts, bringing up boards, performing firmware testing, defining product specifications, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. The position requires a bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering and 5–8 years of firmware design and development experience, along with microcontroller programming, C/C++, embedded systems, circuit design, debugging, and wireless implementation skills. The role may follow an on-site flex or virtual flex work model.
