Georgia-Pacific is hiring a Computer Electronics and Instrumentation Technician in Fort Smith, Arkansas, to maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and replace production, auxiliary, and facility equipment and systems. The role includes installing equipment, operating hand and power tools and precision instruments, maintaining reliability records, ordering materials, and supporting production and quality goals. Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED and a two-year technical degree in an electrical, electronics, or electrician program; two or more years of electrician or electrical technician experience, AC/DC motor, hydraulic, pneumatic, industrial motor-control, servo-system, and controller experience, and an Arkansas Electrical License are preferred. The position offers a 12-hour day or night shift and starts at $33.85 per hour.
