Description
The Electrical Technician repairs, maintains, installs, and improves the reliability of industrial electrical equipment and fixtures in a petrochemical environment. Responsibilities include interpreting blueprints and schematics, installing conduit and cable systems, constructing electrical circuits and assemblies, troubleshooting, performing preventive maintenance, documenting repairs, following LOTO procedures, and mentoring less experienced technicians. The role requires a Texas Journeyman Electrical license and five years of petrochemical craft experience; an associate degree in Electrical Technology, National Electric Code knowledge, and Microsoft Office skills are preferred.
