Description
Potomac Testing is hiring a full-time Electrical Testing Technician to perform acceptance and maintenance testing on low- and medium-voltage electrical equipment, including switchgear, circuit breakers, transformers, protective relays, and motor control centers. The role involves operating testing equipment, interpreting electrical schematics, troubleshooting, inspecting and servicing equipment, documenting field work, and preparing technical reports. Candidates should have fundamental electrical and mechanical testing knowledge, familiarity with test equipment, troubleshooting experience, and strong communication and computer skills; NETA II, III, or IV certification is preferred. Compensation is $30.00–$60.00 per hour depending on experience, with a discretionary annual bonus and benefits.
