Description
Egis is hiring an Intermediate Electrical Traffic Signal Designer in Kingston, Ontario, to support the planning, design, and delivery of traffic signal and roadway electrical infrastructure projects. The role prepares engineering drawings, specifications, calculations, and technical reports; coordinates with multidisciplinary teams; supports design reviews, field inspections, quality assurance, and project delivery; and provides guidance to junior team members. Candidates need a bachelor's degree or college diploma in electrical engineering or electrical engineering technology, 3–5+ years of progressive traffic signal and roadway electrical design experience, direct traffic signal design experience, knowledge of the Canadian Electrical Code and relevant transportation standards, and proficiency with AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
