The Wire Harness Fabricator assembles, wires, and tests electrical, radio, and radar assemblies; forms and routes harnesses on jig boards; reads wiring diagrams and production illustrations; operates automated wire-processing machines; and works to specified tolerances. The role requires six months of relevant electrical wire harness fabrication, electrical assembly, or wire routing experience, an eight-week training program including testing and hands-on demonstration, and a proficiency demonstration to retain employment.
