Description
The Village of Mount Prospect is hiring an electrician to perform electrical diagnosis, troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair at water and sewer pumping stations, including high- and low-voltage equipment, three-phase motors, generators, fans, panels, wiring, and SCADA systems. The role also includes aerial work, underground water and sewer system repair, plumbing, painting, carpentry, equipment operation, and other maintenance tasks. Applicants need a high school diploma or equivalent, at least three years of electrical installation, repair, or related facilities maintenance experience, a valid Illinois CDL Class B license or ability to obtain one within 90 days, and must reside within the specified area within one year of employment. The position pays $42.21–$57.08 per hour, DOQ, and may require on-call, overtime, and rotation among shifts.
