Howmet Aerospace is hiring an Electrician A for its Dover Casting group in Dover, New Jersey. The role provides electrical support and preventative maintenance for plant systems, including installing and repairing motors, transformers, wiring, switches, heaters, alarm systems, and other equipment; inspecting circuits; troubleshooting high-voltage systems; and assisting with PLC, VFD, HMI, and other industrial electrical work. The position is an afternoon shift from 2:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, with first-shift training from 6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The starting hourly rate is $38.04, increasing to $40.73 after 12 months, with a $5,000 sign-on bonus for external candidates and benefits including medical, prescription drug, dental, and vision coverage.
