Description

The Fire Alarm Electrician installs, modifies, overhauls, maintains, troubleshoots, tests, and repairs fire alarm systems, including city loops and digitizers at a fire station and other alarm equipment of moderate or limited complexity. The role also involves electrical wiring, software and firmware programming, hand and power tool use, safety procedures, and occasional travel, on-call availability, and support for emergency and special events. U.S. citizenship, Selective Service registration, a Class D Systems Technician License or greater, a valid driver's license, and the ability to perform the work without more than normal supervision are required.
