Description
Rising Edge Group is hiring an Electrician Apprentice to support substation construction, installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, testing, and documentation for low- and high-voltage electrical equipment. Reporting to a Journeyperson Electrician, the apprentice will work with transformers, circuit breakers, switches, protection and control equipment, SCADA, HMI, RTUs, cabling, ground grids, and structural steel. The role requires indenture into an Electrical or PSE trade, knowledge of applicable utility and occupational safety codes, a valid provincial Class 5 driver's licence, comfort working at heights, and successful safety-sensitive pre-employment screening. Rotational out-of-town schedules, travel, camp or lodging arrangements, weekly pay, overtime, benefits, training, and career advancement are offered.
