Description
Rising Edge Group is hiring an Electrician Apprentice to support substation construction and maintenance under the direction of a Journeyperson Electrician. The role involves installing, testing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining low- and high-voltage equipment, including transformers, circuit breakers, switches, protection and control equipment, SCADA systems, HMIs, RTUs, cabling, ground grids, and structural steel. It is safety-sensitive, requires trade indenture, electrical utility and occupational safety knowledge, a valid provincial Class 5 driver's license, comfort working at heights, and successful drug, alcohol, and background checks. Rotational out-of-town schedules, travel, camp or accommodation support, weekly pay, overtime, benefits, training, and career development are offered.
