Description
Rising Edge Group is hiring an Electrician Apprentice to support substation construction and maintenance under the supervision of a Journeyperson Electrician. The role involves installing, testing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining low- and high-voltage equipment, cabling, ground grids, structural steel, transformers, protection and control systems, SCADA, HMIs, and RTUs. It requires electrical or PSE trade indenture, knowledge of applicable utility and occupational safety codes, a valid provincial Class 5 driver's license, comfort working at heights, and successful safety-sensitive screening. The position uses rotation schedules, includes out-of-town project work, and offers weekly pay, overtime, benefits, employer retirement matching, training, and travel or accommodations depending on the project.
