The Electrical Technician assists with inspecting, troubleshooting, testing, repairing, installing, and modifying electrical components and systems across company facilities. Responsibilities include maintaining electrical equipment, performing preventative maintenance, connecting and disconnecting power for vessels, repairing damaged components, documenting repairs, following electrical codes and safety standards, maintaining inventory and work areas, and communicating with supervisors, staff, vendors, and contractors. The role requires at least two years of electrician experience, basic electrical knowledge, familiarity with tools and testing equipment, blueprint interpretation, and the ability to perform installation, maintenance, and basic repairs independently.
