Stromnetz Berlin is hiring an Electrician for Protection Engineering to inspect, support the conversion and expansion of, and maintain protection-engineering facilities in high- and medium-voltage substations and network stations in western and southern Berlin. The role also involves special systems such as automatic voltage control, reserve changeover switching automation, and frequency relief schemes, on-call duty, and specialized IT applications. Applicants need an electrician apprenticeship or comparable qualification, knowledge of high- and medium-voltage grid equipment, strong initiative and teamwork, Office 365 proficiency, and a valid class B driver’s license. The position offers a starting salary of €45,000–€53,000, flexible working models, training, and additional benefits.
