Description
The Electrical Mechanic is responsible for the safe operation, maintenance, repair, certification, documentation, and inventory management of electrical equipment and instrumentation on a rig and camp. The role includes conducting inspections, enforcing lock-out/tag-out procedures, preparing equipment for rig moves and stacking, supporting third-party service companies, supervising Electrical Helpers, Rig Welders, and Motormen, and providing on-the-job training. The position requires onsite work with occasional travel, a 28 days on and 28 days off schedule, and at least two years of electrical training or field experience.
