Description
The employer is hiring a permanent Electrician or Electronics Technician for Industrial Engineering at its Straubing River Maintenance Office. The role maintains and operates 21 pumping stations, repairs electrical components of pumps and sluice gates, inspects electrical equipment, and performs grounds, cleaning, and waterway maintenance. It also involves monitoring contractors, maintaining flood-protection structures, and deploying during flood events. Vocational training in the occupation or comparable training is required; medium-voltage switchgear experience is advantageous.
