Description
Magna is hiring a regular, permanent Industrial Electrician for its Magna Exteriors portfolio. The role installs and maintains electrical wiring, conduit, power supplies, relays, motors, sensors, and electronic components for robots, conveyors, programmable controllers, presses, and other manufacturing equipment; it also diagnoses and repairs mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components. Candidates need industrial electrician or PLC certification, at least five years of manufacturing experience, PLC and robot-programming experience, welding ability, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. The position pays $38–$40 per hour and requires overtime, flexible shifts, communication, organization, WHMIS/GHS knowledge, and basic mathematical skills.
