Description
Agnico Eagle is hiring an Underground Maintenance Electrical Technician for its Detour Lake Mine. Reporting to the Underground Mine Maintenance Electrical Supervisor, the role maintains electrical equipment from 24 volts to 13.8 kilovolts, troubleshoots motor control, MCC, DC drives, AC drives, instrumentation, and PLC systems, and supports health, safety, and environmental practices. The position requires an Electro-Dynamic or Industrial Technician Certificate, at least two years of mining-sector practical experience, and the ability to work outdoors and at heights; high-voltage transformer and switchgear experience is preferred. The schedule is a preferred 14/14 rotation, with 7/7 rotation possibly considered, and accommodations and meals are provided on site.
