Description
The employer is seeking a Journeyman Electrician for commercial construction and maintenance work across retail, office, hospital, and industrial environments. The role involves installing, testing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems; working with conduit and wire; reading blueprints; troubleshooting transformers, motors, and switchgear; complying with the NEC and local codes; and mentoring apprentices. Candidates need 4–5 years of commercial electrical experience, knowledge of NEC and electrical theory, physical ability to perform demanding work, and proficiency with hand and power tools; OSHA 30 certification is preferred.
