Description
The Electro-Mechanical Technician maintains, repairs, tests, adjusts, and assists with the installation and removal of electrical, mechanical, communication, control, and measurement equipment at pipeline and related facility locations. The role also includes safety compliance, equipment troubleshooting, data analysis, spare-parts and tool management, technical guidance, contractor coordination, facility upkeep, and on-the-job training. An associate’s degree in electronics, electrical, instrumentation, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience, is required; prior operations or maintenance technician experience is preferred. The position requires physical work involving lifting, climbing, driving, and operating machinery.
