The Aerospace Corporation is hiring an Engineering Specialist for its Advanced Sensor Engineering Department to support the design, development, characterization, modeling, assessment, and data analysis of EO/IR remote sensing systems. The role involves using DIRSIG and MODTRAN to generate synthetic imagery, leveraging laboratory capabilities, developing image-processing and data-analysis techniques, and contributing to or leading technical studies. It requires a relevant bachelor’s degree, experience with synthetic image generation and programming environments, and the ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI clearance; U.S. citizenship is required. The position is full-time and on-site in Chantilly, Virginia, with an annual salary of $110,400 to $193,000.
