Description
The role manages research, development, and design of gas and solid-state lasers, masers, infrared devices, and other light-emitting and light-sensitive devices, while directing electronic circuitry and optical-component design. It also coordinates subordinate employee recruitment, selection, training, performance assessment, work assignments, compensation, and disciplinary actions. The position requires a STEM bachelor's degree, project-management and Earned Value Management Systems experience, supplier-management experience, and experience leading multidisciplinary teams. The full-time salary range is $120,600 to $224,000, with medical, dental, vision, flexible work arrangements, retirement matching, paid time off, and other benefits.
