Description

The Space Dynamics Laboratory is hiring a senior Electrical Engineer specializing in Electromagnetic Environmental Effects (E3), electromagnetic interference and compatibility (EMI/EMC), electromagnetic radiation (EMR), and electromagnetic survivability. The role provides resident technical support to the U.S. Air Force Sentinel System Program Office at Hill Air Force Base, Utah, evaluating requirements, designs, analyses, test results, and technical risks; recommending mitigations; supporting qualification and certification activities; coordinating with Government and contractor organizations; and mentoring engineers. The position requires a relevant bachelor's degree, U.S. citizenship, current Secret or DOE L clearance with the ability to obtain Top Secret or DOE Q clearance, and 9–15+ years of relevant nuclear or space EMR experience depending on education. The salary range is $143,000 to $226,500, with occasional travel of less than 25% and a 14.2% SDL retirement contribution.
