The employer is hiring an electromechanic for its Geraardsbergen site to maintain and repair production machinery. The role covers electrical and mechanical fault diagnosis, preventive and corrective maintenance of hydraulics and pneumatics, technical parts ordering and inventory management, semi-automatic welding, and shop-floor coordination. Candidates need strong knowledge of electricity, mechanics, hydraulics, and pneumatics, logical problem-solving ability, Dutch proficiency, computer-system familiarity, and a VCA, BA4, or BA5 certificate or willingness to obtain one. The schedule is a shifted daytime schedule from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m., with flexible transportation required.
