DAF Trucks is hiring an Electromechanic in Westerlo to maintain and improve high-tech installations, robots, molds, and auxiliary equipment. The role involves corrective, preventive, and predictive electrical and electronic maintenance, minor mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic work, fault investigation, PLC programming, and project initiation. The position reports to the Supervisor Maintenance, requires a bachelor’s or graduate degree in Electronics/Electromechanics and PLC knowledge, and works in a two-shift system. Compensation starts at €3,600 for a bachelor’s degree holder with no experience, with additional insurance, meal vouchers, CAO, bicycle leasing, on-call duty, training, and advancement opportunities.
