Description
Rivian and Volkswagen Group Technologies is hiring an Electromechanical Design Engineering Intern to support the design, validation, manufacturing readiness, and release of electronic control units. The intern may work on circuit design, mechanical packaging, hardware validation, test automation, functional safety analysis, supplier quality, or manufacturing readiness. Responsibilities include supporting hardware projects, debugging board or system issues, documenting component releases, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and communicating progress. Applicants must be currently enrolled in a bachelor's or master's program at an accredited US university and have electrical engineering fundamentals; related electronics, packaging, hardware design, communication protocols, PCB design, CAD, simulation, and product lifecycle experience are preferred.
