Description
The role executes electronic blasting initiation and coordinates blasting activities with personnel and customers. Responsibilities include planning tasks, maintaining Daveytronic product stock, performing blasting design, programming, connection, checking, loading, and detonation, preparing progress and anomaly reports, training customers, and coordinating blast activities. The position requires at least two years of mining experience, a technical or bachelor's degree in mining engineering or a related field, knowledge of blasting design software and processes, and familiarity with explosives and detonators; electronic initiation-system experience and relevant certifications are desirable.
