Description
The role independently installs, modifies, maintains, and evaluates electronic checkout and data-acquisition systems; troubleshoots and repairs communication, computer, network, and peripheral equipment; operates test and data-acquisition systems; and supports engineering investigations, missile-battery testing, flight instrumentation, and related special projects. The position requires electronics knowledge, digital logic expertise, technical-document interpretation, and typically an associate degree or two-year electronics program plus three years of related experience. Preferred qualifications include a journeyman license, IPC-610 certification, cable or harness experience, oscilloscope and spectrum-analyzer experience, RF knowledge, and missile-systems familiarity.
