Description
The role installs, modifies, and maintains SCADA systems for member systems and cooperatives, including RTUs, IEDs, fiber optics, communications equipment, workstations, servers, databases, and networks. It also creates and manages software functions, trains personnel, troubleshoots end-user devices, monitors network availability, and may require service-van and forklift operation, system-outage availability, travel, and occasional overtime. The position requires a bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering or technology field, one to three years of electronic-technology or military technical-training experience, and operational knowledge of computer technology and networking; utility and SCADA experience are preferred.
