Description
The role installs, modifies, and maintains SCADA systems for member systems and cooperatives, including RTUs, IEDs, fiber optics, communications equipment, servers, workstations, LANs, WANs, and Internet systems. It also creates and manages software functions, administers databases and networks, trains member-system personnel, troubleshoots end-user devices, and monitors network availability. The position requires an associate's degree in a relevant engineering or technology field, one to three years of electronic-technology or military technical training, and operational knowledge of computer technology and networking; utility and SCADA experience are preferred. The role may require driving a service van, operating a forklift, traveling, occasional overtime, and availability for system outages.
