Samford University is seeking an Electronic Security Systems Technician to serve as the primary field technician for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, inspecting, testing, and documenting campus electronic security systems. The role covers access control, CCTV/video surveillance, electronic door hardware, panic and duress devices, intercoms, gates, low-voltage equipment, and Genetec-connected devices; it also includes work-order response, stakeholder communication, system administration, programming, standards, and team-related security responsibilities. The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, at least three years of relevant experience, a valid Alabama driver’s license, and the physical ability to perform hands-on campus work in varied environments.
