Description
The Electronic Technician, Chief performs installation, repair, maintenance, and calibration of sophisticated instrumentation, remote data acquisition telemetry electronics, ultrasonic flow meters, dissolved oxygen meters, telemetry systems, and gas detectors for water and wastewater treatment and flow measurement. The role may lead junior electricians, maintain records and safety equipment, order supplies, and respond to critical equipment failures. It requires a high school diploma or GED, two years of related electronic repair and maintenance experience preferred, a valid Texas driver's license, and applicable wastewater, plant, confined-space, and personal protective equipment certifications.
