Description
The Electronic Technician tests, troubleshoots, repairs, and refurbishes electronic and electro-mechanical devices, including mobile phones, tablets, and other handheld equipment. The role involves calibrating circuitry, using test equipment, replacing internal hardware, installing operating systems and software, documenting repairs, and preparing devices for customer deployment. Candidates need an electronics, computer technology, or electrical maintenance degree plus 2–5 years of practical experience, or high school equivalency plus at least 5 years of practical experience, along with experience with electronic testing equipment and the ability to solve moderately complex problems.
