Description
BAE Systems is hiring an Electronics Engineer in Portsmouth Broad Oak to support the electronic design, repair, obsolescence, and sustainment of underwater systems and legacy products. The role covers analogue, mixed-signal, and power electronic design; component selection, schematic capture, simulation, PCB layout, testing, EMC/EMI, regulatory compliance, data communication, design for manufacture, and system integration. Candidates need an HND or degree in electronic engineering or equivalent practical experience, electronic CAD design experience, analogue and mixed-signal design experience, and power supply design experience; sonar, RF, signal processing, or FPGA/CPLD experience is desirable. The position offers flexible working arrangements and is marked hybrid, with a salary of circa £40,000 depending on skills and experience.
