Description
BAE Systems is hiring an Electronics Engineer in Portsmouth Broad Oak to provide technical expertise for the electronic design, repair, obsolescence, and sustainment of underwater systems hardware. The role covers legacy product support, technology insertion, component-level analogue, mixed-signal, and power electronic design, testing, EMC/EMI and regulatory compliance, design for manufacture, and collaboration with mechanical, ILS, safety, and production teams. Applicants must have an HND or degree in electronic engineering or equivalent practical experience, electronic CAD design experience, analogue and mixed-signal design experience, and power supply design experience; sonar, RF, signal processing, or FPGA/CPLD experience is desirable. The position offers flexible working arrangements and requires applicants to be BAE Systems employees who have been in their current role for at least 12 months.
