Description
Permanent full-time Electronics Engineer role at Wave Photonics in Cambridge, focused on building the company’s electronics capability for integrated photonics. The engineer will own the hardware stack end-to-end, including schematic design, PCB layout, board bring-up, validation, analogue and high-speed circuit design, embedded control in C, and Python/MATLAB-based test automation and data analysis. The position works closely with photonic integrated circuit engineers on mixed-signal hardware, RF/analogue driver circuits, microcontroller-based feedback systems, and potentially FPGA/HDL-based control, with visa sponsorship available and a salary of £50k-£70k depending on experience.
