Weir Marine Engineering is seeking an Electronics Engineer to join their Electronics Measurement and Control group. The role involves supporting the engineering team in the development, testing, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electronic equipment, data acquisition systems, and control systems. The successful candidate will apply strong technical analysis, advanced analytical reasoning, and general programming skills, including the ability to learn and adapt to existing codebases. Key responsibilities include electrical engineering tasks such as troubleshooting, optimizing, and performing diagnostics, demonstrating advanced problem-solving abilities for data acquisition systems, possessing general programming skills, producing technical documentation, conducting data collection and testing, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and upholding safety standards.
