Description
Ford is hiring an Automotive Electronics Design Engineer to develop electric vehicle power electronics, capture requirements and schematics, select components, perform thermal and worst-case calculations, support PCB and mechanical reviews, conduct hardware bring-up and failure analysis, and support functional safety and design validation. The role requires a bachelor’s degree in electrical or computer engineering, hands-on schematic and circuit-simulation experience, automotive electronics design experience, and familiarity with communication protocols. It is a hybrid position requiring onsite work four or more days per week and offers salary grades 6, 7, or 8 depending on candidate skills and experience.
