Geodesicx is hiring an Electronics Technician I in Chesapeake, Virginia to support contracts in the Hampton Roads area and abroad. The role assists senior technicians with installing, configuring, testing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining electronic and communications systems on Navy and Coast Guard vessels and at shore-based facilities. Responsibilities include using test equipment, interpreting schematics, performing inspections and preventative maintenance, documenting work, and traveling to customer sites, shipyards, and vessels. The position requires two years of practical electronics repair, maintenance, and checkout experience, basic electrical and electronic knowledge, a relevant associate degree or electronics training, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to obtain required security clearances.
