Description
The Aircraft Electrician I installs, routes, terminates, and tests electrical harnesses, cables, fiber-optic, 1553, RF, twinax, triax, quadrax, and Ethernet assemblies on C-130J aircraft. The role also removes and installs aircraft components, interprets electrical drawings and maintenance specifications, uses hand and power tools, and follows safety and hazardous-material procedures. Candidates need at least two years of aircraft electrical experience, a USAF 5-Level or equivalent, and the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD secret security clearance; a secret clearance is preferred.
