Description
The Aircraft Electrician II installs, routes, terminates, and tests electrical harnesses, cables, fiber-optic, 1553 data-bus, RF, twinax, triax, quadrax, and Ethernet assemblies on C-130J aircraft. The role also removes and installs aircraft components, interprets engineering drawings and maintenance manuals, uses hand and power tools and calibrated test equipment, and works in aircraft environments. Candidates need at least four years of avionics experience in communications, navigation, guidance control, electronic warfare, or electro/environmental fields, a USAF 7-Level Craftsman qualification, and the ability to obtain a secret security clearance; US citizenship is required.
