Description
Chentronics is hiring an Electronics Technician in Norwich, New York to support the development, assembly, testing, and troubleshooting of industrial ignition and flame-safety products. The role involves building and repairing through-hole and surface-mount PCBs, assembling circuit-board stack-ups and cable harnesses, troubleshooting electronic assemblies, preparing test setups, conducting engineering and electronics testing, documenting results, and supporting prototype builds and product validation. An associate degree in a relevant engineering technology or science field or equivalent relevant work experience is required, along with experience using electronic test equipment, interpreting schematics, troubleshooting PCB assemblies, soldering, preparing tests, and documenting technical work. The role pays $28–$35 per hour and includes medical, dental, vision, retirement, paid time off, and other benefits.
