Description
De Lijn is hiring a Bus Electronics Technician for its maintenance center in Antwerp to diagnose, repair, and install electrical and electronic systems on buses, including radio, RETIBO, GPS, BDI, destination displays, and driving-style meters. The role requires fluent Dutch, an electricity or electronics diploma or equivalent experience, electrical-diagram interpretation, soldering and power-electronics knowledge, a Category B driver’s license, teamwork, accuracy, and a safety-focused approach. The schedule is Monday to Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., with an unpaid compensatory day off every four weeks. Compensation is €18.9317 gross per hour for a diploma or relevant experience, or €19.8679 gross per hour for specialized or extensive experience, plus location allowance, meal vouchers, vacation days, public-transport reimbursement, and a bicycle allowance.
