The role involves PCB design, low-volume prototype assembly, component sourcing, electronics testing, basic mechanical CAD, mechanical fabrication, lab organization, health and safety, and asset tracking. Candidates need 5–10 years of electronics experience, surface-mount assembly knowledge, schematic interpretation, test-equipment proficiency, test-setup experience, supplier experience, and a degree or relevant engineering experience.
