Description
Cohu is hiring a temporary Electronics Test Technician for a 6–8 month assignment paid through a temporary agency partner. The role performs alignment, calibration, testing, troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and quality evaluations for electronic components, modules, systems, and testing equipment; operates laboratory test instruments and complex pick-and-place handlers; builds and repairs test fixtures and PCBs; maintains ISO calibration records; trains technicians; and supports assembly activities. Candidates need an associate degree or equivalent experience, at least five years in a test or electromechanical manufacturing environment, strong electronics diagnostics and schematic-reading skills, PCB soldering and rework experience, computer proficiency including Microsoft Office, and the ability to work with chemicals and lift up to 50 pounds.
