Description
The Assistant Coach leads fun, age-appropriate sports classes for elementary-aged children, teaches fundamental skills, promotes teamwork and sportsmanship, maintains a safe and inclusive environment, follows the Amazing Athletes curriculum, and builds relationships with students, parents, and school staff. The role is part-time, requires at least three weekday sessions from 2:00 PM to 5:30 PM, and offers additional preschool coaching opportunities. Candidates need prior experience working with children in sports, coaching, education, childcare, or camp settings, along with strong communication, interpersonal, and motivational skills. The position offers paid training, CPR certification assistance, and hourly pay starting at $20 during training and $25 after successful training, with performance-based advancement up to $40 per hour.
