Description
Great Oaks Legacy Charter School is seeking AmeriCorps members to serve as Elementary AmeriCorps Tutors. The role provides literacy and mathematics support to elementary students through intervention programs, teacher-led lessons, one-to-one and small-group tutoring, math centers, reading-fluency conferences, and approved learning tools. Applicants need a high school diploma or equivalent, AmeriCorps eligibility, and U.S. citizenship, national status, or lawful permanent resident status; tutoring or elementary-math experience is preferred but not required. Members must complete 1,200 verified service hours by June 17, 2027, and receive a pre-tax living allowance of $14,400 and a Segal AmeriCorps Education Award of $5,176.50 upon successful completion.
