The SPED Substitute Teacher maintains classroom instruction and continuity when regular teachers are absent. Responsibilities include implementing lesson plans, supervising students, adapting instruction across subjects and grade levels, communicating with school staff, assessing student progress, managing classroom routines, completing administrative reporting, and participating in professional development. The role requires a bachelor's degree, teaching certification or relevant education experience, strong classroom management and communication skills, flexibility for short-notice assignments, and adherence to school policies.
