Description
Girls Inc. of Greater Santa Barbara is hiring an Elementary Programs Facilitator to lead hands-on, research-backed programming for elementary-aged girls at the Goleta Valley Center and school-based sites. The role covers healthy living, academic enrichment, life skills, STEM, literacy, arts, sports, cooking, outdoor exploration, and social-emotional learning; prepares lesson plans; maintains attendance and materials; mentors girls; and collaborates with staff, volunteers, and families. The position is non-exempt and may be full-time or part-time, with flexible scheduling and pay of $19.50–$22.00 per hour. Candidates need 1–2 years of experience working with children ages 6–13, child development and group-management knowledge, activity-planning ability, communication and organizational skills, and CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain it.
