Description
KIPP Columbus is hiring a Special Educator to provide specially designed instruction in small groups to students with low-incidence disabilities, while also teaching core curriculum and social-emotional learning materials. The role includes implementing IEPs, adapting curriculum, using UDL and behavioral supports, collaborating with families and multidisciplinary teams, monitoring progress, and ensuring compliance with special education laws. A bachelor’s degree and an Ohio Special Education Intervention Specialist License or willingness to obtain certification are required; prior teaching experience is preferred but not required.
